Mammography
As
an accredited facility for Mammography, the Women's Center at Noble
Hospital features state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment,
board-certified radiologists with specialties in mammmography, and a
team of mammographers who are licensed and nationally registered in
mammography. In addition to screening and diagnostic mammograms, our
professionals also conduct special procedures such as diagnostic breast
biopsies.
Individual dressing rooms and a separate waiting area ensure privacy
and offer another example of how we care about every aspect of patient
comfort.

The ImageChecker Computer Aided Detection (CAD) system is the latest
advance in medical imaging. Designed to assit in minimizing false
negative readings during mammogram screenings, the ImageChecker has
been shown in national studies to detect 20% more early breast cancers
for every 100,000 cases currently identifed. Early detection means
early treatment and more lives saved.
Women's Touch® Mammopad®
Designed by a surgeon, specializing in breast care, the innovative
MammoPad provides a cushion between the patient's breast and the
mammography machine, resulting in a more comfortable mammography
experience.
DEXA Scan
(Bone Density Test For Osteoporosis)
The Women's Center at Noble Hospital has joined in the fight against
osteoporosis. Our bone densitometer, or DEXA Scan, is the newest and
most accurate method of diagnosing osteoporosis in its earliest stages
when it is most responsive to treatment. Early treatment has been shown
to significantly reduce the risk of bone fracture.
3-D color, state-of-the-art Doppler diagnostic equipmenthelps to rankour Center
among the finest in the area.Our ultrasonographers are board certified to assure the highest quality testing and diagnostic results. The Ultrasound Departmenthas been accredited for Obstetrics and General Ultrasound with the American Collegeof Radiology (ACR).
