Noble Hospital now has the total capabilities to
combine the finest quality OB/GYN care with the latest technology and
services.
In addition to our Women's Center
state-of-the-art facilitites for annual check-ups, diagnostics,
treatment, and education programs, Noble Hospital has partnered with Baystate Medical Center to enhance women's health services throughout our community and the region.
Through this unique collaboration, women can receive outpatient, OB/GYN
primary care close to home at the Women's Center at Noble Hospital,
then deliver their babies in the comfort and safety of the birthing
center at Wesson Women and Infants' Unit at Baystate Medical Center in
Springfield.
Co-medical directors of the program are Westfield obstetricians and gynecologists Dr. Robert Wool and Dr. James Wang,
who also maintian a private practice in Westfield. Noble Women's Center
Nurse Practitioner, Roberta Barron C-FNP, is a key member of our
interdisciplinary team.
The collaboration with Baystate Medical Center reaffirms Noble Hospital's commitment to the special needs of women.
Preventive Care
At the Women's Center at Noble Hospital, our
primary goal is providing quality care close to home which will promote
your good health. Through annual check-ups, addressing special concerns
and state-of-the-art testing, patients are enabling early detection of
potential conditions. These behaviors promote good health and focus on
enhancing an individual's quality of life.
Gynecology
Screeening, exams and treatments are individualized to every woman.
Along with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, we
recommend that all sexually active individuals have a gynecologocial
exam every one to two years.
Obstetrical
In addition to our comprehensive Obstetrical Services and our
partnership with Baystate Medical Center, the Women's Center at Noble
Hospital offers pre- and post-natal exercise programs, childbirth
education, nutrition counseling, and more.
Resources
The Women's Center at Noble Hospital has a complete Resource Library
on our premises. Books, CD-ROMs, and video material offer an abundance
of information on health concerns and interests specific to women.
Materials are updated on an ongoing basis, and may be perused in our
library or borrowed for home use.
Patient Education
From our outreach programs to on-site classes, the Women's Center at
Noble Hospital is continually updating and adding programs of health
interest to women and their families. These offering are advertised
regularly in the local media, in the hospital's quarterly newsletter

Women's Health Network
The Women's Center at Noble Hospital participates in programs offered
through the Department of Public Health to assist uninsured and
underinsured woment in obtaining free mammograms, pap smears,
cardiovascular risk screening, loboratory testing, physical exams, and
nutritional counseling. While these programs typically focus on women
between the ages of 40 and 64, under certain circumstances, services
mentioned are available to younger women. If you have questions about

Interpreter Service
We are sensitive to the needs of the many women who require interpreter services and we readily respond to those needs.
Spirit of Women
In addition to infant delivery services, Westfield area women are also
invited to participate in Baystate's free membership program "Spirit of
Women". This program offers numerous benefits including opportunities
to increase knowledge about women's health, interact with medical
experts and enjoy a support system for women of all ages.
