PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES
(INPATIENT & OUTPATIENT)
Psychiatric Department offers a
comprehensive range of services for individuals requiring different
levels of psychiatric treatment. The programs offered include inpatient
and outpatient services for adults with acute mental health problems,
substance abuse issues and co-occurring substance and psychiatric
disorders. Our staff includes psychiatrists, clinical social workers,
registered nurses, mental health counselors and occupational therapists
Inpatient:
The Fowler Wing is a twenty bed acute care psychiatric unit designed to treat patients requiring intensive care
in a hospital setting. Focusing on individualized care, the program provides patient assessment, diagnosis
and effective intervention to accelerate integration back into family and community life.
A staff of psychiatrists, social-workers, therapists and psychiatric nurses works in this inpatient unit.
Outpatient: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
The
Noble Hospital PHP is a short term ambulatory treatment program. It is
designed to provide structured and supportive clinical services to
adults with acute mental health problems, substance abuse issues and
dual substance and psychiatric disorders. Clients admitted into the
program will be those who are not presently in need of inpatient
hospitalization, or clients who have been hospitalized and need
assistance with transition back into the community. The
multidisciplinary staff includes: psychiatrists, registered nurses,
clinical social workers, addictions specialists, and occupational
therapists.
The PHP operates Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM for adults age 18
and older. Clients admitted to the PHP must have existing outpatient
treatment providers and be capable of reliably attending and
participating in our daily program. The PHP offers transportation when
needed for clients in Westfield and surrounding communities.
